most comprehensive Egyptian collections inthe world.
It cares for approximately 24,000 artifacts from prehistoric
Egypt through the Byzantine occupation.
Take a virtual walk through these galleries and learn about Egyptian history,
daily life, religious beliefs and the aesthetic values of that era.

Non-residents will be admitted ten minutes before program begins, space permitting. At this time, all saved seats must be given to those who have arrived if no other seats are available.
