Window into the World of Art
Cezanne Portraits is the first exhibition devoted to the famed post-impressionist's portraits.
This is the first full visual account of Paul Cezanne's pictorial and thematic characteristics in the genre,
including the chronological development of his style and method, and the range and influence of sitters.
Several paintings are exclusive to the National Gallery of Art's Washington (March 25-July 1) presentation.
Some works have never before been exhibited in the United States.
