POB Grows with our Community 2026

Dates: March 23 - September 8, 2026

The Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library is excited to announce our seed library for 2026!  Patrons with a POB Library card can come in to get seed packets for their gardens.

Procedure:

  1. Sign up at the Reference Desk beginning March 23, 2026 - must have a valid POB Library Card.
  2. Each household can select up to eleven varieties from any category. Limit one packet per variety.
  3. Plant your seeds. 
  4. Send us pictures of your plants growing to [email protected] to share with your community!
    First come, first served while supplies last. Please only take those seeds that you will grow!
