Books Delivered to the Homebound
Anyone who is eligible for a Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library card and cannot visit the Library due to illness or disability, or who needs accessible reading material due to a visual or physical impairment qualifies for the LIBRARY TO YOUR DOOR program. This program provides free delivery and pickup of books by the U.S. postal service.
To enroll, call 516 938-0077 X 241 for an application or print one from the link below. Once the application has been accepted, the Library will send up to three items (books, magazines, DVDs, music CDs and audiobook CDs) each month based on your indicated preferences and/or specific requests. To return your items, place them back in the original envelope and follow instructions for leaving the envelope for your mail carrier.
